“The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.” – Psalm 103:19 (NKJV)
In a world that often feels uncertain, it is comforting to know that while governments change, economies fluctuate, and circumstances shift, our King never changes. God has not surrendered His authority, nor has He been surprised, or will ever be, by anything we face. The King is still on the throne. This truth resonates powerfully with us all, whether you are at home or living in the diaspora.
Many are navigating rising costs, family responsibilities, health concerns, career decisions, and the longing to stay connected across oceans. We have this assurance, though, that, wherever we are, God’s rule goes beyond every border, His presence reaches every home, every workplace, and every heart that calls upon Him.
The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 46:9-10 that God declares the end from the beginning and that His purposes will stand. Nothing catches Him by surprise. He is faithfully working, even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Romans 8:28 assures us that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
When life seems overwhelming, choose faith over trepidation. Lift your eyes above every present situation and look to the throne of God. Jesus, our risen King, still reigns with power, wisdom, mercy, and perfect justice. He is able to open doors no one can shut, provide in seasons of lack, restore broken relationships, and strengthen weary hearts. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to approach God’s throne of grace with confidence to receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need.
Today, let your heart be anchored in this unchanging truth: The King is still on the throne. Do not lose hope, continue to pray for your family, your church, your community, and our beloved Guyana. The God who has been faithful through every generation will remain faithful to His people. Trust Him, follow Him, and rest in His Sovereign care, knowing that His kingdom cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28).
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we are so grateful that You are still on the throne. Calm our fears, strengthen our hearts, and guide us with Your peace. Bless every Guyanese family at home and abroad. May we live with hope, courage, and kindness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
